Machine Technician

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the direct supervision of Department Supervisor, incumbent shall be responsible for assisting customers and completing and processing of customer payouts, in addition to other necessary duties. Incumbent will comply with all policies and procedures of the casino as well as the personnel policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Incumbent must perform assigned duties in highly interruptive conditions and constant time pressures and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide instruction to customers on how to play games.
  • Must be polite, courteous and helpful to customers and staff at all times.
  • Maintains and reports machine problems to management.
  • Processing of Jackpot payouts, customer claims, and customer payouts for those unable to do so themselves.
  • Comply with Title 31 requirements, which includes suspicious or multiple transactions.
  • Incumbent should familiarize themselves of appropriate forms that allow gaming machine vendors to make changes.
  • Maintaining cash-out ticket paper and accessing approved keys.
  • Assist Supervisors or Managers in the settlement of customer disputes.
  • Assist in the continuing process of documenting all machine installations and changes.
  • Responsible for daily check out of radio upon arriving for work for the purpose of communicating with security and surveillance throughout the shift.
  • Incumbent must wear uniform prescribed by management and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to work evenings/nights, weekends and Holidays and must be able to fill in for other technicians as needed.
  • Incumbent also understand that unexpected business circumstances could alter the shift schedule as well as add additional unforeseen duties.
  • Any other miscellaneous duties, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to write reports.

  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality on all department matters.
  • Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.
  • Be able to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • High School Graduate or GED Certification.
  • Current Oklahoma Driver’s License and dependable transportation.

REQUIREMENTS

Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Gaming License.

  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening test.
  • Indian Preference
